Günümüzün eğitim ve öğretiminin imkanları ve sınırları her geçen gün değişmektedir. Bilginin ânlık değişimi, yenilenmesi karşısında bireylerin, toplumların, ulusların ve bütün bir insanoğlunun yetişmesi açısında “Açık Eğitim” her geçen gün önem kazanmaktadır.

The possibilities and boundaries of today’s education and training are changing day by day. “Open Education” is gaining importance every day in terms of the growth of individuals, societies, nations and all human beings in the face of instantaneous exchange of information and renewal.

Küresel birçok bölgede eğitim imkanlarının kısıtlı olması, iç savaşların sürmesi ve dünyamızda 70 milyon civarında göçmen, yurtsuz olduğu düşünüldüğünce açık eğitimin önemi daha da ciddi bir âciliyet arz etmektedir. Hem günümüz açısından hem de gelecekteki nesilleri düşündüğümüzde açık eğitimin kapsamının arttırılması ve genişletilmesi âcil sinyali vermektedir. Bu eğitimin teşvik edilmesi, sertifikalandırılması, taşınması ve ispatlanabilirliğinin olması için “Açık Rozetler” sistemi bizlere bir çözüm sunmaktadır.

The lack of educational opportunities in many parts of the globe, the continuation of civil wars and the fact that 70 million immigrants in our world are thought to be homeless are even more serious. When we think about both the present and the future generations, the expansion and enlargement of the scope of open education gives a hurting signal. The “Open Badges” system offers us a solution for promoting, certifying, transporting and proving this training.

Ayrıca bu 2 sistem özellikle 2012’den günümüze yeni bir bilim alanının doğmasını sağlamıştır. Kendi içinde yüzlerce dala ve çalışana ihtiyaç duyacağından yeni bir sektörel alan oluşturacaktır. Daha düşük maliyetlerle hem yerel hem de küresel girişimciliğin önünün de açılmış olacaktır. Her bireyin bu yeni alanla ilgilenmesi kendisin ve ülkesinin faydasına olacağı kaçınılmazdır. Açık Eğitim [2] ve Açık Rozet [3], [4] uygulamalarından örnekler araştırma için verilmiştir.

In addition, these 2 systems have made it possible to create a new scientific field, especially in 2012. Since there will be hundreds of divers and employees in it, a new sector will be created. At a lower cost, both local and global entrepreneurship will be opened. It is inevitable that every individual will be interested in this new field and that everyone person (he or she) will benefit. Mehmet Keçeci: Open Education It is very important for the future of human beings to provide similar rights to individuals and to raise individuals and societies at the desired level.

What changes do you hope Open Education will bring?
Açık Eğitimin Hangi Değişiklikleri Getireceğini Umuyorsunuz?

Mehmet Keçeci: Açık eğitimin özellikler yetersiz imkan çerçevesinde olanları istedikleri bir eğitim düzeyine getireceğini düşünüyorum. Bu da dünyadaki göç hareketlerini azaltacaktır. Çünkü dünyanın herhangi bir yerinden istenen eğitim alınabilinecektir.

Mehmet Keçeci: I think that the characteristics of open education will bring those in the framework of inadequate opportunities to the level of education they desire. This will diminish/reduse the migration movements around the world. Because the desired training will be available anywhere in the world.

What role do you think Open Education will play in education in the future (either in the country or the region)?
Açık Eğitim gelecekteki eğitimde (ülke veya bölgede) hangi rolü oynayacağını düşünüyorsunuz?

Mehmet Keçeci: Kendi ülkemiz açısından baktığımızda birinci dereceden sorun olmasa da her isteyenin istediği gibi bir eğitim alabilmesi, sosyal imkanların gelişmesi, iş alanlarına daha yetişkin birylerin katılımı ve yenilenen bilgi ve teknolojiye uyum göstermesi açısından oldukça faydalı olacaktır. Çevre ülkeler açısından bakıldığında olay daha da ciddi boyutları kapsamakdatır. Türkiye şu anda 3,5 milyona yakın göçmeni barındırmaktadır. Bunların eğitimi ve ülkelerinede tekrar faaliyet alanlarının açılması için açık eğitimin önemli bir katkısı olacaktır.

Mehmet Keçeci: When we look at our country from the perspective there is no problem in the first instance, but it will be very beneficial to have an education like every wanting, to develop social opportunities, to participate in more adult people in business areas and to adapt to renewed information and technology. From an environmental point of view, the case covers even more serious dimensions. Turkey currently has close to 3.5 million immigrants. Their education will be an important contribution to open education for the opening of areas of activity again in their countries.
