Neden Hiperteknoloji?

“Hyper” (İngilizce) = “Hiper” (Türkçe okunuşu); aşırı, yüksek anlamlarına gelir. “Advanced” (gelişmiş, ileri) ve “High” (yüksek) kelimelerinin bir benzeri olarak Türkçe okunuşu tercih edilmiştir. İleri, gelişmiş, yüksek teknoloji anlamlarını içermektedir. Burada “Hiper”i daha çok teorik bilimler, “teknoloji”yi ise uygulamalı bilimler olarak düşündüm.

Şahsen, teorik fizikçi olmama rağmen neden teknoloji adını seçtiğimi şöyle açıklayabilirim:

  • - Teori ile teknoloji birbirinden ayrılmaz bir ikilidir.
  • - Bir ülkenin kalkınması her ikisiyle birlikte gerçekleşir.
  • - Birinin eksik kalması diğerinin de eksik kalmasına sebep olur.

Ben de bir yandan teorik fizikle uğraşırken diğer yandan bilgisayar ve yazılım dünyasında (öğretmen, yazılımcı, web tasarımcı olarak çalıştım) faaliyet gösteriyorum.

Yaşadığım deneyimler bunu bana açıkça gösterdi. Bu ve benzeri nedenlerle siteme HiperTeknoloji adını verdim.

Why Hypertechnology?

“Hyper” means excessive, high; similar to “Advanced” (developed, advanced) and “High” (elevated), its Turkish pronunciation “Hiper” has been preferred. It encompasses the meanings of advanced, developed, and high technology. Here, I have thought of “Hyper” more as theoretical sciences and “technology” as applied sciences.

Although I am a theoretical physicist myself, I can explain why I chose the word “technology” as follows:

  • - Theory and technology are an inseparable duo.
  • - A country’s development happens only when both are present.
  • - The deficiency of one inevitably leads to the deficiency of the other.

While I engage in theoretical physics on one hand, I am also active in the world of computers and software (I have worked as a teacher, programmer, and web designer) on the other.

My experiences have clearly shown this to me. For these and similar reasons, I named my site Hypertechnology.
